• OUR IMAGE CONSULTANT SCHOOL HISTORY

IDRI Paris was created by André Barreau in January 2002.

Prior to that , the only makeover training available were of 3 to 5 day duration only, given in Anglo-Saxon style, definitely quick but which only lead to dressing-up.
André Barreau, as an Institut de Coaching International certified professional coach, came up with the idea to put these coaching techniques to use for self-image enhancement services.
Thus the IDRI was born; the only school at the time to propose this innovative but effective approach which differentiates it from the other schools.

Within a few years, with the help of the whole I.D.R.I. team, a rich and original course curriculum was developed, new apprentice approaches were created, a deontology charter put in place, thus giving birth to the new « Image Consultant » profession.

Professionalism and integrity are two strong values of our school. Our recruitment practices for the educators are strict, and their teaching skills are important to the profession. Concretely this means that specific teaching tools are constantly developed to improve the efficacy of the training.

All this hard work was rewarded by the State Certification for the Image Consultant profession.

The certification that we issue to the students having successfully passed the exams is the only certification available in this field, registered in the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles, RNCP (National Professional Certification Repertory).

Furthermore, IDRI is now approved by the National Education Ministry (see our website National Education Ministry heading).

I.D.R.I is therefore Number One, by far, in the field of training for the Image Consultant profession.

Among the various training centers in France, I.D.R.I is the oldest school in makeover, with a proven made in France know-how and a well established notoriety for the last 9 years.

Our makeover school has trained 400 Image Consultants; 73% of the certified ones are presently practicing as Image Consultants in France, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Russia, Hungary, Arab Emirates…*
