MISSIONS OF THE FEDERATION OF THE VOCATIONAL TRAINING
To develop the private offer of formation
Near the whole of its interlocutors, individuals, companies, branches professional and public purchasers, the FP follows an active policy of information and communication: creation of events, multiplication of the partnerships, influences in the networks of decision makers and participation in the authorities which determine the main trends of the vocational training.
To accompany the change
Vis-a-vis the evolution of the trade of the formation (emergence of the individual in the process of formation, taken in management account of competences, widening of the teaching act to related actions upstream and downstream), the FP helps the companies of formation in their strategies of change.
It accompanies the reflexion by its members and supports experience sharing.
To contribute to professional insertion
The FP affirms since always the effectiveness of alternation and attempts to promote it in order to make it possible to the young people to acquire diplomas and to form part more easily of the active life. The Federation initiated the Weeks of Alternation and made many innovative proposals.
The FP also supports the reintegration of public far away from employment by setting up partnerships with the professional branches, the areas and the State, with through in particular of ANPE.
To take care of the respect of competition
There is no viable market without compliance with the rules of competition. The FP, which is based on the opinion of the Council of the Competition of December 2000, acts to make apply these rules to the whole of the public and parapublic people receiving benefits.
The FP also intervenes on the level of the professional branches and of the purchasers deprived to endeavour to control some practise and to make comply with deontologic rules.
To promote quality
Quality is a major stake for the FP. In order to increase the professionalism of the organizations, the FP sets up “a professional certification FP” which will make it possible to better answer the requirements companies and waitings of the individuals anxious to see recognizing their assets.
The FP also was at the origin of the creation of the OPQF (Professional Office of Qualification of the organizations of Formation), organization which delivers an occupational qualification at the organizations of formation which answer quality standards guaranteeing their professionalism.
One of the actions founders of the FP was to mobilize its members around a step quality structured for, on the one hand, laying down the most suitable orientations, and, on the other hand, to help the members to lay down their policy and to implement it.
This step resulted in a policy of partnership in the field of quality. The FP S ’ is thus engaged in ambitious partnerships with several large prescribers of the vocational training (Agefos SME, Opcareg, GARF, ANPE…). L ’ objective commun run of these partnerships is to develop the quality of the formation.
The FP also developed tools guaranteeing the concern of quality and the professionalism of the organizations of formation.
It is thus with L ’ origin of the creation of L ’ Office of Qualification of the Organizations of Formation (OPQF) which delivers at the organizations of formation a qualification based on criteria of professionalism and satisfaction of the customer. Nearly 750 organizations obtained a qualification OPQF, which constitutes a strong guarantee of professionalism.
This step of professionalisation of the organizations of formation S ’ is prolonged by creation D ’ a “professional certification FP” which has the aim of certifying quality and the professionalism of the process of formation from which the trainee profits. The certification FP, which lies within the scope of the validation of the assets of the professional experience, gives thus to the adherent of FP and qualified organizations OPQF, the possibility of enriching their services by offering a recognized validation
To maintain the social dialogue
The FP represents the profession in the social negotiations. It is at the origin of the various agreements which apply to the profession (working time, wages, precaution).
It also undertook a reflexion on the management of competences in the branch which could make it possible to advance on an actualization of the trades of the formation.
